Serpent Dance Art Collab Classes

Serpent Dance is proud to be an interdisciplinary and holistic dance program that combines several different art forms. My core belief is that emotion can and should be explored from several different artistic angles and viewpoints to enrich emotional awareness as well as artistic expression and connection within yourself. Even though my main focus is dance, I offer a wide variety of collaborations with other artists/art forms.

The chosen emotion is first discovered through dance, that is, an all-encompassing dance class provided by myself, Caroline Loesser, as well as another class dedicated to either a completely different art form, or a different dance style.

Art Collab Class Red Aries x Tango Argentino in Maastricht | June 2024

This beautiful collaboration in NL, Maastricht featured singer/songwriter and dancer Leonie Bellé. Leonie Bellé is a professional Jazz singer and multidimensional artist who is deeply inspired by her own dreams, visions and life-experiences. Her art runs deep. In 2023, she released her first album ''Born from the Blue'' which features her debut single ''Moonman''.

Next to being a singer/songwriter, Leonie Bellé teaches Latin and Ballroom dance.

Red Aries classes deal with the emotion of anger.

I taught a passionate heels choreography to Bring me the Horizon's "Medicine''. Afterwards, Leonie Bellé taught a Tango Argentino inspired choreography to ''el Tango de Roxanne''.

Art Collab Class Orange Venus x Presty Studio in Nancy | July 2024

Serpent Dance went to France, Nancy to collaborate with professional dancer and studio owner Prescillia Edmond. For this Orange Venus class, we taught a sensual, feel-good heels combo to Robin Thicke's ''Sex Therapy''. This class fell on the day of the New Moon, and since I work very closely with the moon cycle, we incorporated that into our sit-down/meditation session at the beginning of class. Technique exercises consisted of various walks as well as floor work.

Blue Moon Art Collab Class with High Heels Antwerp and Caroline Debray in Antwerp | December 2024

In December 2024 one of my dreams came true. This Art Collab class took place in Antwerp and combined dance and charcoal art. Two heels classes were taught by myself and High Heels Antwerp, and then a Charcoal Art workshop by artist Caroline Debray. Since Blue Moon classes focus on the expression of sadness and introspective emotions, I taught my Blue Moon combo to Rod Stewart's ''I don't want to talk about it''. High Heels Antwerp taught a combo to ''Stop'' by Sam Brown. Lastly, Caroline Debray taught us how to use charcoal to express our innermost selves. Lots of tears were shed during this session. It was a beautiful fusion of two art forms.
