''....and suddenly, everything just kind of made sense. All the hard work, all the tears. They accumulated in something bigger, something of value.
If i had told little me that her dancing her heart out would someday result in this, she wouldnt have believed me. The last few years have been hard, challenging...difficult. I have had to undergo multiple major transformations to get to where I am today. At times I lost perspective, but never purpose.
I would like to deeply thank everyone who was involved in the process of this. Family, friends, my closest ones... Also those who arent part of my journey anymore. You have given me something to dance about. Thank you ✌️
I have thought long and hard about how to transform something that's so personal to me into a business. I doubted everything about this. Questioned myself. Yet I always found myself in the same place, no matter what I was going through: the studio. Dancing because there simply was no other way. Bringing to the surface what was going on inside of me. And then came "The Journey". My concept video series, which tells stories about the trials and tribulations of life, always inspired by my own.
It was my passion and love for the craft that kept me going....as well as my hurting. The need to emotionally release, to have some form of outlet. My emotions are what drive me. In life as well as in dance. Emotions give you a purpose, a sense of direction. Even though they may mislead you, lead you astray, on a major detour...yet they keep you going. As long as you are willing to listen to them, discover them, and embrace them. All of it, the ugly ones, the pretty ones and everything in between. And even on a major detour you may find beautiful unexpected things on the way. And so I did.
My emotional world is what led me to dance. And here I will stay.
This is Serpent Dance. This is Me.
You have to embrace what's within in order to go without.''
