Another one of my very first concept videos. Could be seen as a sequel to the previous one - they are interconnected.

The Journey IV - Out Of The Rabbit Hole

Philosophic thoughts incoming: I have always thought of dance as my way to capture the 'human experience'. I feel stuff - because I choose to do so, I dance about it. It is funny when you tell stories about yourself, because you become the narrator, which kind of detaches you from the experience. And that is the secret.
We can witness our emotions from a higher point of view, let them happen, and let them go. They are only part of the periphery. The world can never enter us at center. And that's exactly where we need to be. Aware, and at center. Once we have arrived there it is just a matter of "playing". And I like to play a lot because it gives me loads of material to dance about: Diving into my emotional body has gifted me a lot of art and enabled me to process many painful things. And that is the point: we progress, we grow, we learn what we are supposed to learn, we receive a little "humanly" upgrade and are sent on to the very next lesson. We are meant to feel every layer of this humanness, every bit of pain, every ounce of fear and every doubt. As well as all the good stuff when we are in an elated state of being. Feel it all. Like trying on clothes in a store. See how they fit, as long as you dont fail to see what you are beneath all of that clothing.
This is what "The Journey" is about for me. It is my very own human experience expressed through movement. Unfiltered, because I want to experience every state of being as deeply as possible.
I am beyond thankful to have crossed paths with Alex, who knows exactly what to do, how to capture my ideas and bring them to life. Cant wait for all the other stuff we will be working on, this really means a lot. THANK YOU''
